Hi Cerby people!

I've heard of Cerberas having more than one engine in their lifetime but never of one engine being in two cars at the same time.

Take a look at the engine shot of the Cerb in the PH classifieds here...
www.pistonheads.com/sales/detail.asp?i=22354&s=6

Then have a peep at the engine shot on the Sports & Specialist Car Company website...
www.dealer.autotrader.co.uk/_sportsspec2frame7.htm

If it is the same car then I'll buy it at £16K instead of £20K thanks!

However it looks to me like someone is being a bit naughty.
I don't wish to cast aspersions, but it looks to me like the S&S Car Co. is the genuine article, since in the other ad the rest of the pictures are clearly taken using a different camera.

I thought I'd post this on here just in case anyone surfing is thinking of buying - I'm sure it's all quite innocent, but little things like that make you wonder what else can be amiss.

Buyer beware eh!

None of those pictures are of a rosso pearl car though! Weird.

I think the PH one is using the other engine photo as a stock example of the engine. Why, I don't know? Probably cleaner that his or he doesn't have a digi camera himself and is using an old shot of the car in the other photos.

I think you may be right Darren, it does make you wonder why.

You're quite right Darren, I do have far too much time on my hands. :hangsheadinshame:

Be sure to let me know if you're bringing your motor round my neck of the woods. I'd love to see it again - and I need a TVR fix it's been too long!

I looked at the Pistonheads one today and thought the engine picture was strange, as I couldn't see the aircon unit, that the advert says it has. That was enough to put me off calling, but I might now....

To be fair, I suppose all you can do is ask about it and see if you believe them or not.

My guess is they probably just chose to use someone else's pic cause their own were so poor. I imagine the other two were taken using a mobile phone.
