Has anyone ever gone from a cerb to a Tamora??

I think they are great little cars and good value, plus I would really like to try topless TVR ownership.

On the back of this, I have no idea how to value my cerb. As a lot of people on here will know it was a cat c write off and I had it rebuilt on a later 2002 chassis. The car is now better than new and a couple of people have asked me to let them know if I ever want to sell it, however I have no idea at what price.

If I don't change cars I may well get the sunroof mod done!

I'll tell you in about 3 weeks when i collect the Tam; as for valuing Cerbs, unless you want a quick sale, start high and resist the ineviatably low offers as there is always someone out there prepared to offer a fair price.

There are not a huge amount for sale and might even consider buying a written off one and rebuilding it.

topless TVR ownership- have you ever considered a Wedge? I went down this route a couple of months ago. I absolutely adore my Cerb and wouldn't swap it for anything but I just fancied the idea of going topless over the summer months from time to time. I have had a couple of Griff's in the past but always hankered after a Wedge.

I am now very lucky and have a 450SE to drive as well and I have to say I think it would be almost impossible to find a better, louder, and more fun car to drive for the money. Not everyone's cup of tea but I do not have a single regret about buying the wedge...it just has me smiling everytime I'm out in it....

Getting a wedge is something I have thought about but it would not be as a replacement for the cerb and I cannot at the moment justify two 'fun' cars as I would end up only doing about 2000 miles a year in each of them as I don't drive during the week.

The car was never advertised, the owner read a comment i made on here and he PM'd me, it developed from there. It's obviously got a lot to live up to, but i'm hoping that recently fitted ACT decat pipes and a JP exhaust will help

always hankered going topless and almost bought a Chimp instead of the Cerb but the Mrs. did the deed this year and I'm so glad that I didn't: Blowey, Burning, and the Stereo just can't handle the wind noise - that's apart from the fact that there are soooo few day to take advantage of it .

I'be always had a wandering for a Tam but always considered them a little (dons flame suit) girly... even though they have a reputation for a great drive.

The only other issue is the back end that just doesn't sit right with me.

I'd be hard pushed to change the Verb for one I reckon.

I also have a massive hankering for an S series.

Personally I wouldn't do it. The price for you Cerb will be lower than you could expect from its current condition, just due to the cat c. But hey, its your money.

Not much hair plus stupid hat, sunblock, warm clothes, even drive with roof on if really necessary, never listened to the stereo on the Cerb, doubt i will in the Tam

Reckon yours would at least be worth that Mark, if not more, even with the Cat C (due to refurb chassis etc).
