how much miles to youre tank of fuel

at the weekend i put £70 of v-power in and only went to 3/4 full how much to fill all the way from empty.so take it for a blast sat and sunday first real shot and have erst the tank already just over 100 miles what youre thoghts on this anyone

They are a thirsty car! I've heard on slow motorway runs people getting 20 miles to the gallon but thats not proper Cerb driving.

Mine runs well and has been remapped and I've yet to see 20mpg. I got 19.5 once though.

Assuming the cost you paid for the VPower was about £1.34/1.35ish, it means you achieve < 10 MPG. Which is pretty poor. I know my car is running slightly rich at the moment, but I paid 138.9p/l the other week for £35 of VPower and managed about 80 miles or roughly ~15 MPG. That was mainly motorways though, but I wasn't hanging around.

Shoot - 12 or so years of TVRs and I have no idea how many mpg, miles per tank etc... But I suspect 200 plus from a full tank should be the norm for mixed driving. A lot less for trackdays, more on a long steady journey. If you have a problem with T-pots or anything else impact fuelling then I suspect you could see really poor consumption.

18 miles to a quarter tank!



I usually fill up at the quarter full mark, and apart from when I took the pic above(!) I get around 160miles to that point. I get anywhere between 8.5-18mpg, but usually around the 13 mark.

100 miles for 20 quid works out at nearly 30 mpg. Do you actually achieve that? I do monitor mpg on all of my vehicles as it's a good indication of how well things are working and can often give you an early warning of problems. I recently found that my daily driver, an Integra Type-R was only giving me 20 mpg. A little exploration showed a seized brake caliper slide which I have now resolved and am back to 29 mpg.

I still think that a healthy Cerb will only give high teens in normal driving though.

my record is 282 miles on a tank. On a long motorway run with dodgy bonnet catch limiting me to 65.

I have also been below 10mpg when in a hurry.

Hard to say cos i sold car 5 months back so cant remember petrol prices.But if driven on a motorway run at a normal speed then i was around that figure,or i thought i was.confused cos car was four wheel drive 460 bhp,put 2.5 motor in which gave better mpg than 2.0.will keep an eye on cerb when i get it not bothered too much about mpg;)

I get 15 - 17 mpg, which is damn fine if you ask me.
