Confession time:

Topped up the fluids this morning, was all going great until I put water in the oil.

That will teach me to use similar containers for both.

So the car has now had an oil flush and a complete oil/filter change.

Expensive Saturday morning.

Never made that mistake before and I hope I never do it again.

ive done worse,completed an engine rebuild at homePut engine back in cartwo pipes on back of engine which were a pig to see,one oil one water i connected the wrong way aroundwhat a scream that day.worst still threw torque wrench across garden in temper which bounced and went through van side window,which was closed at timethe joys eh

never try to paint your manifolds and bake them in the wifes two week old oven when she is on a night shift.Cos when you take em out with a tea towelburn your hands drop em threw glass oven door and they stick to floor covering,well they just go mental when they get home women ay

Too right, they just don't comprehend inventive engineering solutions....

Tried to unjam my gearbox by heating it in the oven.... wife came home to a nuclear mushroom cloud billowing out of the kitchen window

..... gearbox remained as seized as a delicate pair of hands were around my throat
