New french keeper
Discussion
HI everybody
My name's Arno , I've just bought a 4.5 in UK & brought it back to Paris
I'm sorry to have took off a nationnal patrimony out of UK , but here the Cerb talk to itself in British promotion in its mettallic british racing green robe !
This car is amazing either in look , or in use.
Pics will follow, hopfully before it happens to be broke.
It already happen in fact , when some misfires went darken my face
I start by checking the spark plugs , willing to change for new ones , what a job ...
Then saw leacking from camcover & decide to go forward ( in french we say to put finger into gear , quite a common suffering in TVR ? )
I wanted to put new silicone sealant on the deck but there'is a différence in plan between the head & the timing cover , about 0,4 mm , result was more leacking & more darkening on my face (real black spots indeed)
I ended up by cutting a real joint in a big thin piece to cover the head till the step caused by the timing cover , put silicone all over , & rethigthen , this works.
So my first ever question in this fabulous site will be:
Why ?
Second will be :
did I do good ?
Thanks a lot for any help , I'll certainly need more
Cheers

I was thinking Le Mans classic, in fact.

Was considering this one as well when it was up for sale last year.. I was pretty keen on the nice upgrades.. and the price
Already having a chim in exactly the same colour combo made me hold back though. Nevertheless it is a classic colour, and in my mind its also a shade that really makes sense for a true British supercar on the continent. I bet it would attract quite a crowd over there, not exactly a common sight I imagine
.. that tinted glass looks pretty cool btw, makes it appear even more evil from the rear 3/4
