Just re-fitted my chin spoiler (thanks Simon), and found that using domestic cavity wall fixings (the "umbrella" type that close up as you tighten them) is a really good solution for making a solid fixing to fibreglass.

Secondly, old tyre valves make an excellent replacement for the bonnet "mushrooms". Just cut the 'nose' off with a hacksaw and whittle down the rubber with a stanley knife until its a snug fit in the homes. Job jobbed.
