4.7 Rebuild

Jason at STR8SIX does them as well, about £7K including a 12 month warrantee and a Billet steel crank.

TVR Power do the kits, anyone who does AJPs can put them together.

If you want a 4.7 AJP and you want it built by someone with a proven track record then APM/Power must be the way to go?

TVR power offer a 3 or 5 year warranty, or a 100,000 mile warranty if you take the car to them for servicing. That's got to be a tempting addition.

Would a 4.7 make any major improvements over a 4.5 red rose ?

Depends what you mean by improvements? More power but I guess things will move up n down the range etc. I think a decent 4.7 with a good map is going to be over 450bhp and on a racer with better manifolds maybe 475bhp?

In my experience the 4.7 is easily 470, however I'm sure 500 could be achieved. The big difference is in the torque over 80ft lb difference last time!

So whats a standard rebuild cost ? i hav nt a clue , cause when i bought my car its engine was nt knackered, unlike some poor cerbera owners i know !
