The colour doesn’t come out very well in the pic it’s quite a bit darker than it looks, I thought it would be nice to match it to the purple leather inside the car. Not so sure now, but it’s only you me & the MOT that will see it anyway!

Just got to bolt it all back together now...

Looks great, I bet you're rather pleased! smile

Just out of interest, I've always wondered what you do about bolt holes, wishbone ends, etc which should be left as clean metal? Do you just scrap the powder coating away afterwards?

Mask them off with a plug, or bolt or similar.

Yeah, they were meant to have masked them off, I'll be doing a bit of sanding! They did mask off all the threads.
I think I'm happier with them not having masked them off as they wouldn't have know where to mask up to & it would have ended up like the original TVR coating with massive gaps of no powder by the bolts.
Just thinking about what the easiest way of sanding it out of all the bush housings would be...

Re bush housings - if you're using polybushes I found that they went in OK without removing the powder coat. I didn't blank off the threaded holes etc which was a right p.i.t.a - had to clean off the powder coating from the threads with a tap on all of them which took a while....

Ah thanks for that, but I am going for new rubber ones all round apart from the ARB & the upper dif mount.

I was hoping the poly dif mount would go into the chassis with the power on so I'll give that a try smile

Thanks very much, I have got quite a few pics already here if you are interested. I assume that link will keep working as I add more pics to it.

I'll keep posting up the odd one or two on here too.

Andy, how on earth did you do all that work within a garage that is two fag-papers wider than the bodywork ??? yikes

I felt hard-done-by working under and around mine and I could probably get a Munch Mammoth down each side.

Truly stunning !!

Its ok now the body is off, but getting the body off was a right pain as I could only open one door 2 foot at a time. To get to the bolts on the other side I had to push it out of the garage & back in again hard up against the other wall, it went in & out about 8 times & the drive I had to push it is on to is on a slope! I did my self real damage after the steering was disconnected - try turning the wheels lock to lock just by grabbing the tyre, was on pain killers for a week after frown

Still no pain no gain & it looks nice now smile

I have just come back from my local powder coaters in Maldon (Essex) and noticed a number of purple bits from what looked like a TVR Chassis. Not yours by any chance?

No had mine done in Mitcham (Nr Croydon). So I'm not the only purple one!
