Anyone had to mdoify their arches to fit slightly larger wheels? Any tips, or even better pics?
Just got back from a trackday at Knockhill and my new R1Rs (40 profile up front) *just* run the inside of the wheel arch on one particular corner (fast-ish left hander under heavy compression).
It clearly doesn't need much (couple of mm maybe), but just after any advice before I go at it with a Dremel and some fibreglass.

Advice, buy a good respirator and seal up the car! Also cover everything you don't want covered in dust! It's best to do it outside really.
The arches themselves are pretty thick in places but the vary from car to car, arch to arch and each area. Be prepared that if you go through you will need to take back even further and then re-glass.
With my fronts I cut sections and pushed them out to create the clearance required and then re-glassed in that position.

Ditto for the rear. Cut slits where you need the clearance, push back and fibreglass. I fibreglassed in the arches and from the back also in the boot space. 255/50/16 Mickey thompsons now clear ok.
I intend to make more clearance before dropping the body back as i also want to fit 10" rims at a later date.
