Hi, sorry if this has been covered elswhere..I am about to have the front half of the car resprayed both doors and all front end...so i'm thinking it would be a good time to do a headlight conversion. Could anyone give me an idea on cost JUST for the conversion not to include the respray as this is already booked in? Also any ideas as best place to take it for this to be done close by. Thanks

Try Jason at www.tvrbodyshop.co.uk he should be able to give you a very good idea of cost and possibly sought you out for the works also.

If you're thinking of having the conversion done by someone different first, then things aren't that simple. They'll have to strip off all the paint around the area to be able to do a blended conversion for you, reducing the cost of the respray (assuming they strip the rest of the paint off whilst they're at it). I'd either go with one place that'll do it all for you, or get the respray then have a non-blended conversion (eurgh).

I think you're probably talking about £500+, anyway...
2x pods
4x large lamps
2x indicators
2x LED jobbies
Wiring loom for all the above
Fibreglass blending
Covering up of your existing indicator gaps.

yep, my cars in there just now after recommendations from PH.
I think the lights plus front end is about 1100 +VAT but don't know the price of just the lights.

Have a look on the zertec website. I think they have prices for lights only but good luck trying to contact the guy. He works abroad and I still haven't had a reply from January.

Sometimes one week, sometimes two. Depends on how busy they are, how much needs spraying, possibly even the paint colour/type, etc. etc. Best to give them a call and ask. Mine was 1 week, but it was only JUST finished in time, and remember that paint really takes an extra couple of weeks to fully harden (making it harder to chip)... if you can leave it with them a few extra days before a high-speed run home on the motorway/dual-carriageways, it's certainly not going to hurt your chances of keeping it chip-free for longer.
