Clutch bleed question sort of

Having removed my coil packs, alternator etc i can see where the clutch bleed is fitted. It's a bit of a mess where it looks like its leaked so i was going to replace it when i renew the master cylinder but i noticed there is some sort of switch behind it that has a spdae connector but no wire, does anyone know what this is and where it should connect to?

That's not the clutch bleed but the pipe for the oil pressure gauge on the dash.

The clutch bleed pipe runs from the side of the bell housing by the gearbox up to the bonnet mechanism on the bulkhead.

The male spade terminal is the connection for the oil pressure switch which "should" activate the bulb on the dash. I suspect this has been hot wired to the alternator somehow if your dash oil light works as you expect it to. This has been heard of before.

As RIDDS says, exits the Bellhousing on the driver's side and pops up here....
