Air con not swithcing on

My aircon doesnt seem to switch on properly. If I repeatedly press the button the clutch eventually kicks in for about 10 seconds then disengages. The blue telltale is also very dim. Any ideas ? Thanks in advance.

Re-gas it - lack of gas normally causes it to dis-engage.

Yep, sounds like a shortage of gas alright.

As for the blue light ..... they are all dim.
