Parked outside friends house came out to 50% of the passenger side scratched all the way about a foot in hight 5ft long. Obviously not happy, and no note typical.

Any advice on insurance claim, or am i just gonna have to suck this one up. Have NCB protected.

No slim chance there's CCTV somewhere covering it? Pops up in random places sometimes, even in private residences nowadays...? Might be worth canvassing the locale?

Sorry to hear that though frown

You have my deepest sympathy Dean but I doubt that will help.

Unless you were parked in a cul-de-sac and your mate sees a vehicle with your paint work all over it then your probably gonna have to take it.

Then get yourself a voodoo priest to curse the offender with cronic incontinence.

thanks guys - due to my excessive excess rate this year - l'm gonna bite the bullet and pay, local CCTV still being checked. As over the years there's been quite a few write off's my excess has gone up and not gonna claim.

Dean - dont ever mention that it happened to anyone! You can find that even a no fault accident when you arent in the car and add to next years premium (even if you arent claiming). The rating guys will see you as increased risk!

thanks talked to brokers not insurance company - but yes, ex GF learnt that the hard way - didn't even claim and her premium went up.
