My Cerb has popped its cherry!

First time on the back of an AA lorry tonight!
One 30 minutes 20 mile journey turned into a 5 hour odyssey! To be fair to the AA guy who turned up, he was top notch, took a while but took as much care with the car as if it was his first born.
Was flying down the M20, when all of a sudden it felt as if I had lightly applied the brakes. Immediately moved over to the left lane and took it slowly, bit of increased noise on lift off. Luckily I was only half a mile from Maidstone services, but as I pulled in on the entry road one wheel lock and the car skidded diagonally slightly.
Suspected diff failure. Car will rock backwards and forwards slightly, which shows non of the wheels/brakes are locked on. But it almost feels like the car is in gear (which it definitely isn't), as after a certain amount the rear wheels just lock.
Unfortunately the Mazda broke down last week and is pieces in my garage at the moment so the Cerb might have to wait!

that would not have been pretty. Hope it's not to serious.Possibly driveshaft, though from what I could see they both looked intact last night, but then couldn't really get a good look.
Indeed I was extremely lucky. The bit of motorway I was coming down when it felt like I dabbed the brakes is perfectly straight, with not a lot of traffic at all...

Ooo, quite possibly. Going to try and find the cause of the problem over the weekend. Would prefer to take my time and rebuild my own diff with the Quaife ATB though.
