Getting my rear wheels turning again

Some of you may have seen that my Cerb broke down on Monday, with suspected diff failure. It is currently sat on my drive, but at the weekend I'll need to move it around on my gravel drive and eventually into my garage. Unfortunately the rear wheels are currently locked up.

Am I right in thinking that, if it is diff failure, if I unbolt the driveshafts from the diff that this will allow the wheels to turn again?

Thanks. That puts my mind at ease, for a moment I thought I was going to have to go and get some wheel dollies or similar.

Wheel dollies would be quicker, although not much good on a gravel drive way
