Brake Pads

Hi All

Just over a week before She has Her annual service, mot & bits and bobs fixed. Front brake pads look a little low too. I've always used the AP Racing ones but the last set have been a bit squealy over the last 500 miles or so. Just wondering which pads seem quietest, EBC Greenstuff, Redstuff or Yellowstuff, Mintex, Ferodo,Carbon Lorraine, etc. I have the later cross drilled Sagaris/Tuscan S type front discs as I believe this makes a differance. I've tried all the usual tricks (copperslip, filing chamfers on the pads, the silicon sealant trick,running a drill through the cross drills to clean the crap out, etc, etc) with the AP Racing ones but to no avail.

Any advice much appreciated

They all do it as far as I'm aware. Get some anti-squeal shims at £20 a pop if I remember right.
