Cheap clear indicator lenses

I bought a couple of these front indicators. do you need to remove the plastic lense from the metal 'frame'?

Nope

You push / kick / persuade the old ones inwards from the front.

The metal ring is vital for bonding it internally to the front of car.

Do a search as I did a post on how to do this not too long ago when I did mine.

All that's holding them in is some black stuff, a good push from the front and they pop out.

I am also interested in the clear lenses, so started to google for them. Can somebody confirm that this Land Rover partnumber is the correct one for new lenses: AEU1375?

mine turned up yesterday, another job to add to the list to replace the cracked ones, is there anything that can be put over them to protect them?

They look the part! But I am not 100% sure. The ones on ebay are £14 each. Pretty much half the price of the LR 'dealers'.
