Radar detectors! Which is the best?
Discussion
The Snooper S6R is a doddle to fit and seems to work for me (goes ballistic when laser detected). Lay the GPS unit in the centre of the back parcel shelf & route the wires forward, put the RLD unit in the radiator 'mouth'(All the bits come with it to fit) and if you want to have it at eye-line (depending on your exhaust system you may find the audible alert a bit quiet

As a thread, yes this should be elsewhere.

Wife in the passenger seat does a good job. I dont think I've been out in the car without her sitting with me since dropping the car off for the service.
The radar systems are getting better, the ones that cant be caught are the top mounted little digital things, they send the picture straight to the local gaff.
