Bye the way. Is 'blatting' and 'blat' a southern term. Never hear it up here, but seen it a few times on PH.

I haven't a clue where the word blatting comes from. A friend of mine uses it all the time. Was thinking of calling the car the Blatmobile.

Marvellous fun popping past old grannies in the local high street and watch them drop their shopping!

Where are you in Kent, Zoooooom?

Hi Al

Cheesey grins all round!!!

I'm half way between T Wells & E Grinstead.

I can't make tomorrow, regrettably, as we have friends coming for lunch.

I am treading carefully at present, especially in the wet. Had an Audi S6 before the Cerbie, and could hurl that round corners like there was no tomorrow. Have to be a little more gentle on the trigger now! Especially as it's all wet & slippery round here at the mo.

Have fun tomorrow, hope to see you at a meet soon.

Thanks Yellow Peril

Likewise! I was at the Dunton Green gathering a few weeks ago - the April meet, I think (the one before Bank Holiday Monday). Were you there?

I have a chum who has just bought a 4.2 in some sort of grey colour (battleship grey, dark brooding clouds grey, old lady's gusset grey, I dunno what). I will try and persuade him to come along for a lemomade at the next meet.

No doubt you are having your little Essex soiree (spelling?) today? Hope the weather holds out for you.

No...I wasn't at that Dunton Green Meet.

I try to get down to Kent when possible, but with the Suffolk Meet on the 3rd Sunday before I know it every weekend is a TVR weekend!!!!!
Not so bad really...

Would love to meet you and your mate..met Al Bell today ..
Had a really lovely Cerb come to today's Meet....dark silver with a hint of purple....really strange but super colour....certainly NOT old lady's gussett grey
The weather was kind to us at first...it didn't start to rain until we were all ready to go and eat anyway, but we had 70 cars turn out today, which was cool !!!!

Hope to meet you soon...and keep enjoying your Cerb...

Hi Jim,

Nice to see that you're carrying on the grand tradition of scaring little old ladies at bus stops. I have this image of all the doctors and nurses at the cardiac unit at Dartford's hospital standing around with nothing to do now that my Cerb's relocated to Southern Kent.

Have fun - and remember you get extra points if they shake their fist at you after dropping the shopping bags.

Fred.

Hi Fred

Hope you are having fun in the States! Fred/Blatombile is having fun in Kent!

Went to Sainsburys in E Grinstead yesterday and there was lots of finger wagging and tut-tutting from all & sundry as I parked up right by the entrance. My poor long suffering wife was most embarrassed but the kids thought it was great that they were in a "speeding car" as they call it, giggling and laughing!

You know that first bump on our drive I warned you about? If there is more than me in the car then everyone else has to get out to get over that bump!

Well, he's all tucked up in the garage, nciely washed and waxed at present...

Apparently it is going to be nice next weekend and we have nothing planned! I can feel a road trip coming on!

Roll on the summer!

Hi YP

I am seeing him on Wednesday evening at the pub, so I will mention it to him that we should pop along to the meet. With two small kids we won't be able to come to every social event, but will make darn sure we do as many as we can.

Still yet to pass or meet another TVR, but no doubt will do so soon!

See you soon I hope.

Jim

I used to live near Tenterden, zoooom. There are some nice roads around those parts, though they tend to be frequented more by bikes than cars.
