Back box

Anyone got a back box they dont want,my right tail pipe rattles on tickover,its the original style one i think.Looks like it has been welded before so would rather replace it.I know on the good old parts list that its a magnex box,but they dont list it any where.Not in any rush but if there is a good one floating around out there the spongy man would love it,got the cash here waiting;)Have noticed you can do away with the back box and put in 2 seperate pipes,but not sure i want to up the sound track,or dont they turn the sound up to much.Can remember cirvy saying he had tried a couple of options and this one sounded and performed the best in his words,so am more than happy to keep her as she isminus the rattle;)

Is the rattle inside the back box?

If mne does that now as well.

It's like some sort of baffle has broken loose inside it.

Mine is a second-hand one I got off someone on here so I'd suggest that you try to get a new one or you may have the same thing happen again.

As for the two pipe set-up, it is much louder.

No bud it is the rear pipe,if i put my foot on pipe it stops,there is a hair line crack on top edge as soon as you lightly prop it rattle goes and sounds really good.will look into a new back box when she is in for mot,trouble is the box looks really good,may take off and get it welded will keep you posted
