Cerbera clicking noise?

I am noticing a clicking noise, the regularity of which increases and decreases with speed.
When the brakes are applied it stops.

My theory is either front pads rattling about and need replacing or rear drive shaft CV joints knackered.

Any thoughts appreciated.

It is either your brake pads rattling (easy cure with anti squeel pads), or as in my case your brake discs are starting to come apart. Check the fins between the discs, mine had failed about 1/3 of the way round and creating a high point, which resulted in the pads knocking as the wheels rotated.

Rear pads ..... or rather the little springs that keep them pushed apart.

They've probably broken.

It won't stop the car from driving though.

Cheers fellers! does sound like the rear pads are the most likeley culprits.
