I know this will have been covered before, but I've been searching previous threads and can find nothing.....

Which baby seats will fit a Cerbera (obviously I'll get a TVR one if I find one for a decent price)?

Depends on age.

A Maxi Cosi Citi (Group 0+) will fit fine in the front of a Chim so with the longer doors it should also be fine in a Cerb.

The TVR seat is for older babies and not cheap...

Dont know about forward facing alternatives for the rear...

Having been there myself.

Rear facing baby seats only fit in the front. They are a tight squeeze and personally I didnt like the fact that they were pushed against the dashboard (ie in an accident that might be pushed into the car).

Fwd facing - a few choices. I went for the Recaro option. See www.recaro-seats.co.uk/.
They are expensive BUT look good, are well made, can be used in other cars for children up to 12 yrs old, they protect the head well for side on collisions ie they have a good safety reputation (the key point). The rear speakers are very close to a childs head and I thought that it was worth having some head protection to avoid head injuries.
Ultimately I think the choice shouldnt be made on price and whether it matches the interior. It chould be made on effectiveness and safety. The recaro scores very well on this front. I dont know whether other options are as good but they are cheaper.

I have a Recaro seat that I would be willing to sell, its in good condition and has the additional padding for the smaller child. email through my profile if interested. Would be looking for 50% new price approx and this would include UK delivery

Britax Freeway also fits neatly in the back seat - suitable for children from about 9 mths up as it is forward facing.

About £80 from Halfwits IIRC

Went through this about 2 months ago. For our two year old, the best seat is the Recaro. Available from www.motorsportworld.co.uk for 160 quid (I think that´s the website, might be .com, can´t check right now as in Mallorcan internet cafe and can´t get another browser up!). Very good service, prompt delivery etc. There are other seats that ´fit´ but they overhang the seat too far (and are apparently dangerous) and there ends up with no room for the kids legs. Recaro definitely the best in my opinion.

Agree Recardo is the best option. Ours also has inbuilt speakers so they can listen to CD's or DVD's etc which comes in very useful indeed.

Thanks chaps, excellent replies. I have a Britax seat which ought to be fine, but if not I'll be in touch with people about their seats.

Thanks
