Coil Pack Plate

Anyone know where I can get a Coil Pack mounting plate? Also could do with a Big Fuse mount too.

Mine is a bit buggered after I removed it. All the rivnuts were spinning, so had to drill off the bolt heads and smash them through the plate, which bent the plate, to enable the coil packs to come off.

I have a few choices, get some material and make a new one, buy one, straighten this one out.











With all this removed I can now change the Oil Pressure Switch

straighten it out and replace the riv nuts, or replace with nuts and bolts. can get a riv nut tool on ebay for under £10 which comes with some riv nuts, i brought one last week to replace one i drilled out for the bonnet stay.

Already ordered the riv nuts & tool.

Might try the straighten route, then get it cad coated & painted

Whilst you've got access it might be a wise idea to move the big fuse to the front of the engine? Makes it a darn sight easier to replace every year!

Id be tempted to make one out of stainless and weld nuts on the back.

Or make one from stainless steel or aluminium and drill and tap the holes to suit the coil pack bolts.
