Adaptive Readings

Now you're talking to someone who doesn't even know what the adaptives are but should I sometimes get adaptive readings while driving differing from adaptive1 of -20 to adaptive 2 of say +5, or is this normal? all other readings such are Lambda 1 & 2 are always comparable?

Just to also mention it's SP6 and has just had a full 12K service.
