Publics attitude to your cerb whilst out!

Just wondering what reactions people get on here? positive/Jealousy etc. I say this as today a ticket warden tried booking me before i could even get my ticket and he watched me come in! He lost in the end ha ha

Reaction has always been positive, I get the occasional boy racer driving too close to the back of me but i just pull over and let them past. I also get waved out more junctions than I ever do in my Merc!!

Had a gentleman in a brand new Merc slow down to ogle as I pulled from an intersection. He ended up pulling over in an attempt to read the rear badge.

I've had a fantastic reception to my Cerb. Still she is one of 4 on the roads in NZ.... the only LW and possibly the only 4.5.

Was getting both of mine MOT'd on Saturday and the Cerbera had far more interested parties looking over her than the Chimaera. I think it's because they are so rare and beautiful.
It just seems to be a car that people love, and certainly of the guys I spoke to Saturday, in awe of.

Honestly don't think it gets a lot of interest, certainly compared to a blinged up Audi A5 I was road-testing not so long ago. I think most people now aspire to German badged stuff/Range Rovers/Astons etc. But I'm happy with that - if it's off the radar it means less chance of some twunt keying it when it's left unattended.

I've had the occasional nice word from older petrolheads when I'm filling up with fuel, and workmates saying "I heard you coming miles off" - plus the very occasional car driving up my chuff (sometimes trying to make out the badge, although I guess one or two might be hoping to hear it on full chat). It seems to get admiring glances from wannabe ASBOs too.

For me, the only reaction I can guarantee getting comes from old uns. Hoon it past a group of em waiting at bus stop and lift off, look in the RVM and you can almost lip-read them saying "noisy tt/can't be legal/fought wars for people like that/eeeh, shouldn't be allowed" etc etc - then almost dropping their shopping and soiling themselves when the bangs and pops start at 3k revs.

most reactions ive had are " wow from kids, proper mota from old boys and nods from other real car drivers,i was told its to noise but said sorry cant hear you and drove off,
young guns get up close to see what it is then sit there trying to get a race but i dont go over 70
cos its the law

ha ha good comments, like the horses comment . Made me laugh when i was in Newbury one night outside a club driving through was a dheadish thing to do but a chav in a fiesta was revving it, so i let rip on the revs ha ha this group of girls jumped and screamed The most savage sounding cars i swear!
