It just died on me

As it was sunny, I got the cerb out to drive to work.
It fired first time and backed out of the garage. Stopped the engine, while I got ready, then started it again and drove into work. Just pulling into a parking space and it died.
I could here the fuel pump, and the starter sounds like it's spinning (the stater was replaced 9 months ago), but the engine doesn't turn or fire. Left it for several hours, but it still has the same problem.
I don't get the hot start click decided in other threads.

So is this a battery issue, or something else.

Any advice gratefully received.

Hard to tell without any more clues. Could be electrical or fuel. Don't suppose you can get a laptop on to it with the diagnostics software? Or you haven't run out of fuel have you?

If the starter is spinning but the engine doesn't turn then the starter isn't engaged with the flywheel. It's the solenoid's job to do that. Sometimes they get stuck, you could try whacking it (the starter/solenoid) with something?
