Speedo stuck

My speedo has stopped working. Is this a common prob?

I believe so, mine does it intermittently and there have been threads on this in the past. In my case (and I think often) it is the sender that is at fault.

There was a discusion regarding this a couple of weeks ago. Apparantly, the speedo can stick when changing from 29999 to 30000 for example, or 19999 to 20000. I've not had this.
