Flicker

Tonight on start up the oil warning light flickerd on tickover or very low revs,oil pressure is bang on,and when running no light,but even when hot at traffic lights the light just flickers goes out as soon as you rev a little.Sounds like the switch is on its way out to me,is this a common prob cos one cerb i test drove did this too.Checked oil last weekend and she was bang on the level,only done about 40 miles since then.

it sounds like the oil pressure sender/switch located under the coil packs.

Was ok one minute then it was'nt worries you when you are out and about and you see it flicker,i know there is plenty of oil in her but it still puts me on edge.Thanks for reply bud
