1/4 Mile times

Just done the Straight Lines day at RAF Odiham today, quite happy with the day, managed a best time of 12.59 seconds and a terminal speed of 113MPH a standard 4.5 Cerb, terminal speed at the half mile was 142.2MPH which made me 10th fastest overall, only cars that beat me over the half miole were a Nissan GTR with 600BHP, a standard GTR and an F430.

I need mpore power ;-)

Mid 12's are very respectable especially when not on a proper prepped dragstrip.

The lad in the Tuscan did well with a 12.2 after reducing his tyre pressures.

Will we see you at the pod in July?

about 11.5 sec and 125 terminal speed at 1/4 mile.

Dpn't think so, great fun but probably do one 1/4 mile event a year and focus on more track stuff.

interesting about the droping tyre pressure, I thought about that but wasn't sure by how much so left it as a full road set up.

The F430 seems very very quick? We're usually about level with them at the Brighton Speed Trials - the GTR's are just immense for this stuff though, almost too immense, at the end of the day though they're not as pretty/involving as the Cerb. Good times/ terminals.

Nearly ready. I may well be starting it up this weekend. I may even miss the wedding to be in the garage.
