ignition control unit

So after my Cerbera refused to stop via the red buttons, I spent the day tracing the start and stop switch wires all the way to the control unit I can find no split etc, so I guess it must be the control box.
Can anybody help with any tests I can do before buying a new one?
Or anyone in the Oxted area let me try theirs

how far is it not turning off? mine leaves batt light on unless I turn on then off again. usually!

Engine still running, not turning off , Tbh it's been playing up for a while, it would switch off then all switch back on 20mins later and set the alarm off, it's only because it got to the not switching engine off did I do something about it

Mine did wired things when I parked it one day with the hazards on and LED indicators fitted. I think it can back feed to the ignition control unit so I'd check all your chassis earth, particularly the one in the boot.

Check the eyelets and bolts are clean and free of paint/corrosion.

Checked all are fine, think it's pointing to the control box ....

Obvious but did you check the switch?
