Speedo Sensor Cleaning

Has anyone got any tips for cleaning the speedo sensor in situ?

My speedo/odometer was intermitant, and now has given up! I suspect a bit of dirt or grim on the sensor is to blame?!?!?

Same happened to mine I used a feeler? Gauge and a piece of paper to try and get in between the sensor.
In the end it turned out to be a faulty sensor

Its only held on with two bolts on to the diff, i had mine off when i done my diff bushes and hasn't affect it. Its merely a guide any way as mine over reads
