Right, first of all, its not my picture, it is a PH'ers that he has just posted on Twitter, but what is it? Looks a mix of 348, 458, enzo and a few others

oops, picture not working, here is the link http://yfrog.com/o0qmpwsj

It looks like a 458 with some Lotus Esprit mixed in! Very odd looking thing.

Another tweet has confirmed, my initial suspicions, it is based on the 458.

In the States Jim G has commented that he was told it cost more than his P4/5 and did not come with the initially planned V12 contrary to GTSpirit's report

They're my photos from last night at the HR Owen Spider launch. It is indeed Clapton's and I was told it's a 458 bb, but I was also told something else which I can't quite remember the exact name. £3m apparently.

I hope he loves it. If for argument's sake we imagine I have Clapton's cash and car collection, then I still can't imagine spending that on a 458 derivative, no matter that I would have the only one on the planet. I think Jim G. had a better result with P4/5.

But - I think it was a nice experiment and I hope to see the car in the flesh one day, see how I feel then.
