Nice...could have cleaned the footwell carpet though! You can see imprints on the vertical part of the carpet.

Not a fan if I am being honest, the whole matt thing on super cars just does not work for me. But on the flip side it sure is better looking than the paint job it had before:

Anyone remember what price they paid for it in the pink form at auction?

Is it a Roadster? Looks that way from the photos; if it is a Roadster, should the ad not make that a bit clearer? Joe Macari sell some amazing cars but I don't think they do themselves justice with some of their specification descriptions. (Loving that black F50 they've got as well.)

Streetrod, a question for you: Zondas are frequently upgraded and personalised by their owners, but does this have mechanical limits? For example, could the Joe Macari car be upgraded to F or maybe even Cinque spec?

I know - slightly strange it fails to mention that or have a photo with the roof down!

Random Zonda Roadster questions:

- Is the roof part solid, part fabric?
- Can it be stowed in the car or does it have to be left at home?
- Is it easy to remove / erect(!), for want of a better word, the roof?

Hello mate. The basic answer to your question is "no, there are no limits" The fundamentals of a Zonda that being the tub, front and rear sub frames and suspension have not changed since the C12 was introduced in 1999. In fact it is the same basic architecture was signed off back in 1993 and has not really changed since. But then why would it have too. The standard carbon tub has more torsional stiffness than the McLaren F1's tub. And singular tubs have been used in multiply crash tests with little or no damage.

So yes even the earliest cars can be upgraded to the latest specs both mechanically and cosmetically. A classic example is the Zonda GJ owned by Gareth Jones. His car famously started out as an S which you can see here:

It was then nearly destroyed in a well documented crash only to emerge from Pagani's workshop as the GJ. The tub is the same; the engine got an upgrade as did the body work to F specs and the aero to Cinque specs

If fact very few of the early cars actually exist in their original form any more. So much so that Pagani has been trying to buy back this car

from its lady owner for years now, but she is not selling.

Too your questions about the Roadsters, the cars have a solid roof panel that stores in the car with the rear window section in cloth that folds down

Looking at the pictures of the car, about the 8th one shows the Air Con controls etc, and above them it reads 'Roadster'. Therefore guessing it is one!! As you also say you'd think they'd give it a good clean before taking pictures of it. The exhausts look like they've had some use as do the seats and gear stick!! Can't be many Zonda's with 21000 miles on the clock?!!

It looks great from the outside, but the interior looks 'well used' for such an expensive car!

Hello mate. The basic answer to your question is "no, there are no limits"
Another good example is Pagani's own test car which has been used as the test car for virtually all of the different models and is currently specced with most of the parts from the 760 LH.

Excluding the supposedly requested manual box.
