I notice a Ferrari Testarossa for sale with Targa Florio cars for £34.995.00 which seems good value!.
They have dropped the price 10.000.00 in a week as I remember it 10 grand more at last look,I have brought off
Them and they are nice guys!.......
Is it one of those to good to be true?

Why would they drop it by 23% in one week?

Well you really need to look at it to form a judgement. You can't really tell anything from the rather small pictures although the history file looks impressive. Also, not very clear from their website but that is the actual car that featured in Motorsport in 1985. Original owner, Hew Dundas quite often lent his cars to magazines for features.

At the moment, from an owner's perspective that sold last May; £45k is about as much as you would want to pay for a good one (unless very special)... £40k about average price and £35k not necessarily dodgy, but just very good value.

As usual, do your own checking smile

Oldest, highest miles on PH, still at least you know where the bottom might be.

If it checks out (and doesn't need a lot of work) it looks to be a decent price.

I sold my TR just over a year ago for £34,500. Similar miles (51k) and not as desirable colours for resale (mine was grigio/grigio).

In theory this car is also more desirable as it's old enough for export to Australia, as it's a pre 1990 car.
