Was it near Bicester?

There is a classic Bugatti restoration and service place near there

Spotted it at Junction 6, Stokenchurch but was heading West so could well have been Bicester bound

Using my limited Bugatti knowledge, I think it is a T57 Stelvio with Gangloff bodywork. It is very similar the Schermerhorn car that I saw in Holland several years ago. Fantastic cars.

Wow, that's one hell of a spot!

As a petrolhead, I'm embarrassed to say I'm not sure I'd know what it was if I saw it.

That is a great spot. Anyone seen a T57 sell recently as I cannot imagine it's value?

Using the numberplate as confirmation that it is a T57C, that would mean that this wonderful beast has 180bhp due to a supercharger on the 3 litre engine, and is apparently capable of 180 km/h (108 mph)! That would be quite scary, I think.

Edited : I was told off for naming the owner publicity. The owner wishes to remain private.

I have to respect the owner.

Sorry folks.

A similar one sold at auction in Denmark last year for less than £500k
