Just went over to get a Lamborghini part from the above and found them to be closed with 'Bailiffs Notice' taped to the door!

That's a shame they seemed to have a good reputation from what I'd read on the forums, I guess it shows how tough times are if a franchised service department have gone under.

Thought they messed things up and Lambo gave it to Pangbourne. Not sure where I heard that ...

Not sure if that's correct, as Lamborghini Pangbourne are part of the HR Owen group and LHW were totaly independent. I can only guess that a lot of people decided not to use them as they were very expensive. Prices which I was quoted for work to be done on my Countach were very high, even though I purchased the car from them!
Delighted that Lamborghini Pangbourne are not that far, as they are a great outfit and good people to deal with.

The Italians/Germans are not that interested in urgently updating a minor detail such as revoking the license, anyway Graham S. is more than likely planning to set-up a new operation somewhere else!

Well I for one always found all the guys there fantastic. We had an issue with my car which found them owing me money - Graham promised free service there until it was paid back and that's exactly what he did. I also broke down outside Le Mans on my way to the 24hr race - I called his Mbl in desperation - he answered his Mbl at 8pm and advised me what to do. He even offered to send one of his mechanics who were there with his team competing in the race - 100% IMO

This is the kind of reputation I was under the impression of, it seems I may have been wrong based on some of the posts

Hi Neil, long time no speak / hear mate.

Same as above from me too. Graham, Sam and all the others in there really looked after me over many years and 4 Lambo's of ownership. Good guys and real petrolheads. I hope they all reappear somewhere else.

Do you know that for sure? Did you personally inspect your car after a service for example, to make sure everything had been done?

The owner of my first Gallardo, who could afford to rely on the trust of LHW was totally ripped off, it wasnt until I purchased the car off him, that I found out that the car had seriously been neglected by LHW. (Gearbox oil never replaced, filters that were black and had never been replaced etc etc) I wrote another thread about this way back so I wont repeat myself. A lot of wealthy owners put their trust in dealerships too much, its when poor people like myself get the cars, and get an Indy to do some work that the true damage comes to light.
