Hello Gentlemen

I'm after opinions on the following two Main Dealers servicing and customer care.
Stratstones in Manchester and Graypaul Nottingham. I'm hoping to avoid a repeat of an experience earlier this year.

Thanks in advance

That's exactly the opposite for me, Leeds local, but used Nottingham but then they supplied the car after visiting both.

Pays your money takes your choice. SS in Manc, my experience has been that the techs are good, but the front of house non technical phone person was not up to expected standard.

I used GP for an annual...no issues and they gave me a new Masarati Ghibli for a few days.

Have used GP several times before but I thought I'd try JCT out as they quoted significantly lower cost than GP and they came and collected/delivered in covered transporter at no cost. Resultant service from them was fine so would use again if rates remain competitive.

Guys my Scud's warranty runs out in Jan 2015
Last year i had it serviced by SS Wilmslow Manchester (excellent service)
Would you take it to main agents and get them to inspect it and see if it needs any warranty work carrying out before the warranty expires or take it to a specialist and have the service carried out there?

There could be updates or recalls so if it is within warranty its probably best to stay franchise but negotiate the best possible price directly or indirectly

Darren and the rest of the service team at Graypaul Nottingham are top notch. I send my cars there and I'm particular about them to the point of being obsessive. I wish I wasn't but it's a sickness biggrin
