Want to remove wheels so can detail inside of wheels and suspension components etc.

Any recommendations for brand of jack? Something decent but not crazy money..

Thanks

Personally I'd want to spend a bit more than £35 on a jack to lift a £150k car, try this:-

Any of the Arcan 2.5 or 3 T jacks from Costco.

Low entry, built like tanks (weigh like one also wink)...about £90.

Use an ice hockey puck as a spacer/pad.

Another +1 for the Arcan jacks from Costco. You need a low entry jack otherwise it wont fit under the sill.

Buy any brand but make sure it is EN 1494 specification approved. The cheap and cheerful ones are not.

Thanks all.

There are no Arcan on the Costco website. Is this the model to get?

That same jack was £77 at Costco Chester this afternoon!

They do the alloy one like this that is lightweight and sometimes a 3.5T steel version which is f heavy. I have the latter. It is super stable with my car on it.

Edit: this one

Looking again at the alloy one make sure it is low enough. The XL35R just sneaks under the sill of a 360 and your strad is lower.

+1 for the Costco jack but last time I was in Costco they had started to do a similar Draper one which looked just as good but wasnt as funky looking.

I bought a draper one like this for 'emergencies' http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-KAJ100410P

The wheel studs are very specia£ and you will realise how specia£ if you damage one so be careful.

I've been using the following for a couple of years, had many a sports/supercar in the air for wheel removal, arch/brake Detailing etc.

Thanks all...have gone for this SGS jack as all ally construction so light, with 1.5 tonne capacity (so good for lifting heavier 550 Maranello), low 90mm entry height and good value with 4 axle stands.

Will report back when I've tried it out.
