I always hunt down the very best car of whatever model I'm looking for and buy it, even if it means paying a bit more. A week after it arrives in your garage you're still stuck with the car, you soon forget the money.

they aren't saying you should pay more for your car (not in a Stella reassuringly expensive way), they are saying they pay more than other traders if you are looking to sell. Ad doesn't really make sense but I see what they're getting at, I think.
assume its that they work on smaller margin than competitors but its strange how their retail prices manage to be keen also.
strange though that Tom snr. isn't interested in cars himself just the deal making. you would think you would have to have some passion for cars at this end of market
