There seem to be loads of thread about cars being offered for increasingly silly amounts as dealers try to dangle cars out for silly profits (£200k 355 for example) but I'm sure there are a lot of people looking to actually buy supercars in this forum and trying to find a particular car/colour/year/mileage etc but don't know all the local dealers around the entire country. I thought it would be useful to have a thread where people can post any cars they think are good value/under priced and other may ask if anyone knows of X car with Y spec that isn't advertised on the usual channels.

To kick it off, what's the cheapest 12C spider out there at the moment please?

There are no 'bargains'.

You want a good car, pay for it and don't worry about values.

Mate of mine picked up a 2004 Aston Martin Vanquish last year for 12k. The car had a fault that was rectified for less than 1k.

Definately bargains to be had if you know where to look.

Not really what I meant. I know there prices for everything I'm certainly not worried about the resale, this thread was intended to be the opposite - cars out there at good prices people can go and buy and enjoy.

There are too many threads on here about depreciation, future values and all sorts of boring stuff, but if you are looking for a car how are you to know that there is a good value car at a dealer in North Wales if you live in London?

Criminal I know. It had been sat in the owners garage for 2 years after he parked it up with a gearbox issue that was reportedly going to cost 10k to fix. My mate got wind of it and approached the owner, had a look and offered 12k.. guy accepted on the spot as he just wanted shot of it.

Turns out the gearbox issue was fairly minor and as my mate owns a Jag garage it was sorted cheaply. It's now with the rest of his 'retirement' collection. Beautiful looking thing too, if he sold today he would make 40k on it no problems.
