For those who have had Sandfly bites, they'll know there's nothing quite so irritating.

Well almost.

Why do dealers llike Meridien's amusing wanted ads on this site insult our intelligence and waste our time by posting "Urgently Wanted" ads with incorrect trade prices? Even the most naive private seller knows a dealer needs to make a margin - and we even know the price you buy dictates the margin more than what you can sell it for doh - but posting "Urgently Wanted £ 100,000" when everyone knows what you mean is I'll only buy your car for substantially less, is irritating.

If you want a car and you want it urgently, credit us with intelligence and post a reasonable price you might pay and let the deals happen. No one is forcing anyone. Or, don't post a stupid price at all.

Be a class operation, not a Sandfly. You might even source better cars faster.

Its like in the classifieds when dealers advertise a car for 50k less than its worth and put
"Now sold, similar cars wanted" but their ad is sandwiched between 2 correctly priced cars for sale.

And another thing !!!!Why do Meridien always leave sold cars on official Ferrari used car site at £999,993 ?
In fairness I bought my old 550 from them and they were good and it was great but they do themselves no favours.

Nearly as bad as a celebrity car dealer who has a full page ad in the times today (normally half a page..) and 4 of the 6 cars pictured are POA as well as others in the ad. Why...
