It's at time of year again when I start organising the paddock groups for the Mission Motorsport Invitational.

This year it's on Friday September 4th. As usual it's at Goodwood.

I have two paddock groups left to organise, both of 12 cars a piece. They'll both come under "Supercars Past, Present & Future".

The other groups are boasting some spectacular cars. We have the racing Iso Bizzarini again, plus a long standing MM supporter with his Aston DB4 GT Zagato and prototype Aston DP214. There are C-Types, D-Types, pre war racing Bugattis, Cobras, Shelby GTs, lightweight E-Types and more.

I'm tasking myself with doing a similarly epic job on the supercar paddocks. Thus I'm on the hunt for the following:

McLaren F1, P1
Porsche 918, CGT, 959
Ferrari F40, F50, 288 GTO, Enzo, LaF
BMW M1
De Tomaso Pantera
Lamborghini Countach, Diablo, Murci, Gallardo, Aventador, Huracan
Jaguar XJ220
Bugatti EB110, Veyron

I understand that this represents a list of pretty much all the finest cars ever made but we're aiming high with this one and I expect to get there.

Every driver/owner will be greeted with a fantastic Mission Motorsport welcome. You'll have your own place in the paddock, a place to store your trailer/race truck etc. You'll be fed, watered and generally fluffed.

Most importantly you'll be able to meet some of the MM beneficiaries and offer them an opportunity not afforded to many. You'll play an integral part in helping switch on some lights and help people scrabble their way back to some kind of normal life.

This event is NOT a fundraiser. You will not be turned over for donations - we appreciate that just attending costs the drivers/owners a pretty penny.

If you're interested and have one of the cars above (or something similar that I've missed off - soz!) then please drop me a PM. Likewise if you have a friend/contact who may be able to help then please feel free to put them in touch with me.

At present I'm not looking widely outside this list. Things may change but I'm relatively confident that I can put together 24 cars of this kind of standard.

Thanks to all and of course to the PH Headshed for putting up with this kind of thing thumbup

A few pics from previous years:

Every car on every lap is carrying a Mission Motorsport beneficiary. Last year we provided in excess of 6000 passenger laps of the track in one day.
