Aftermarket warranty or extended Manufacturer's warranty?
Discussion
Hi. Can't really advise on aftermarket warranty but after a lot of reading about various aftemarket warranties I personally decided to stay with manufacture w wjere possible. I never claimed through F warranty but had few claims on my Porsche warranty and Aston warranty (both manufacture) - both saved me a lot of money. I think if you consider warranty at all I would go for manufacturer as it works differently i.e the dealer is fairly keen to get any repairs authorised on your behalf whilst it will be you trying to persued repairs are nessesary through any aftermarket warranty. Again, I am not an expert here, I am pretty sure many people on forum know muchbetter then me; just my 2p
(£3,500 pa for fairly new car that Cali is looks pretty steep tbh; I think my DB9 MY09 which is similar type of car costs around half of that and if I compare my F with my AM parts/labour costs were about the same past years)

I would be inclined to go with a manufacture based warranty... however it would all depend on what is covered on the warranty.
For a modern convertible Ferrari, the most important coverage for me would be:
Roof mechanism
Gearbox
Sensors and computers relating to traction control and engine management etc.
