Judging by the protective film on the mirrors etc, I would guess that this car is still in the factory awaiting final clearance. If the Quality Control Manager let this through afterwards, I guess he would be swiftly looking for alternative employment!

I'd be apoplectic if that was my car. To those suggesting that it would make it somehow a collectors item is probably forgetting how fickle buyers can be. Most people I would wager would think the owner tried to get the stripe added by some random (poor QA) company and couldn't conceive of the notion that Ferrari themselves would balls it up.

I suppose repainting that area wouldn't be the hardest job, but shocking that it got that far. The thread says that the owner had to point it out rather than the factory noticing it.

Well hopefully he'll also get them to spray the spoiler red for free too now that he's seen that it actually looks pretty awful in white.
