Audi R8 GT exhaust issue

Hi there
I've got an Audi R8 with the 5.2 litre v10 engine. I just noticed some very fine silvery metal shavings on the inside of the exhaust pipes.
Has anyone had this before or know what it could be?
I've had a good scour of the internet and the only thing I could find was possibly a cat problem.
The car is only 2 years and done 2k miles which is a bit confusing!

When I had mine the rear grills appear to have been melted by the heat, never noticed anything like you mentioned though.

They really are tiny shavings, almost like silver dust, you need to use a torch and a close look to see them. A bit strange..
