Where to take the Speciale for a drive tom AM from SW London

I usually head to the Chilterns in the valley of horses where's a few good roads, also highlighted by PH once from memory. Not sure about alternatives.. Good wood area ?

Trip to Goodwood around Haslemere - Midhurst and Petworth is not too bad unless you get stuck behind a lorry.
