How come you never hear the Brunie family ordering special one offs anymore? I'm assuming they still have money.

Love the piece toward the end regarding the trans, way ahead of its time and even now something the team working on it can't fathom. Even if the UK is going to ruin, as a nation we are unmatched where engineering innovation is concerned.

It was the Sultan's brother that had the appetite to buy up $$millions of cars. From memory he was told to reign in his spending and loads of the cars were/have been sold , many in pretty sorry states as the maintenance team were binned off also.

Wonderful link, thank you. I used to see a 456 Venice Station Wagon driving around Mayfair all the time. Such a shame so many of these wonderful cars were left to rot in the heat.

As mentioned in the article they also had a couple of Pininfarina Mythos which was a stunning concept car.

Saw this in London last year, it was the plate that caught my eye, then when i looked at the car i thought i was seeing things.
