21yo to buy offices so he can park Lambo
Discussion
Interesting story about a 21 year old fashion company owner whose Lamborghini keeps on being ticketed because he has nowhere to park in Cheltenham
Includes the line from the newspaper: 'We did want to get a photograph of Mr White his flash wheels but he asked for either a parking permit or a fee of £5,000.'

Seems a remarkably uninteresting story to me.
+1There's an undercurrent of passive aggressive sneering throughout the article too, talking about his "flash wheels" and "lurid colour schemes".
My OCD kicked in when I read "The £250,000 Italian sports car has however not gone unnoticed, despite its lurid orange colour scheme."... which is a contradiction in terms. I think they meant to say "thanks to" instead of "despite".
Possible that the interesting side of the story isn't actually contained within the story!
I.e. how a 21-year-old owns a Lamborghini. And not through jealousy or anything like that, just always intrigued to see how someone so young has done so well for themselves.
Also - if they have done so well, can't they find a property where they are eligible for a parking permit?!

I don't think it's mummy and daddy. Seems lots of people must like those ripped jeans he's flogging!
Looks like the local paper has photographed him again, flaunting the tickets http://www.gloucestercitizen.co.uk/Lamborghini-man...

Most likely Mummy and Daddy bought it for him.Butter Face said:
You've got to sell a lot of jeans at £55 a pair to buy a Lambo!
The parking tickets do make him come across as a bit of a douche, becuase the money 'doesn't matter' to him. All well and good until they impound it one day, bet that'll piss him off
Good choice of colour though.
Need to sell a lot less jeans to lease one. Why does everyone think these self made entrepreneurs have walked into a dealers with £250k in cash? Judging from some of the celebrities he has endorsing his products, I'm sure it's a profitable game. Mark up on clothing is spectacular. Good on him I say. But still, no need to be so careless when parking, whether you're in a Lamborghini or not. He may be able to afford the tickets, but can he afford to lose the customers? I'm sure that kind of arrogancy could be detrimental to the business if it continues.
Any press is good press, as they say.

Convenient because its probably the truth. Give me a genuine example where a 21 year old is self made and owns a Lamborghini? Not talking about footballers and those who are given handouts from mummy and daddy to setup their business.
there are plenty, the internet / phone apps have made lots of young, technically minded people very wealthyMDL111 said:
good for him. saying I don't care about the money and flaunt the rules others are adhering too does not help in making supercar owners more popular though.
This is broadly my take on it too. Behaviour such as his can have far reaching consequences if he wants to remain in Cheltenham. Sticking two fingers up at the Mayor and generally acting like a bit of a knob is ill advised. If nothing else he could be opening himself up to retaliation (vandalism) from the locals. Don't s
t where you eat springs to mind. What a nob. Parking it up with a bunch of tickets displayed like trophies (too wealthy too care…?) will only end badly. Either for him when someone does some damage or to some poor respectable sod who gets their car keyed because chavs in the street think all people with flash cars behave like this. The council should send in the bailiffs, I'm sure they would if I did it.
A bad article though.
