Hi All,

I was just absolutely blown away by this video by Mr JWW and had to share. I sound like some sort of spam laugh. After watching the video and falling in love (again wobble) with both the 488 and the 650S I couldn't decide which car I would rather drive up that beautiful road. I love the spec of the 650S, never seen one like it! For me, I'm undecided.

Which car would you choose?

Haha, you like what you like! Although I do love the 488, but people say it is very boring, it is not a "true Ferrari!" due to the turbo charged engine v8. I think the 458 is becoming slightly dated which i hate to admit as it is one of my favorite cars ever, but it is supposed to be more of a Ferrari than the 488. Ignore me if I am talking rubbish, I don't have many car friends... laugh

Which car did Mr JWW choose to drive ? whistle

As a Ferrari and McLaren owner I would always take a McLaren spider and that's an unbiased opinion/fact. I don't think I need to explain why

If the Ferrari 488 was a N/a V8 you are probably right but going turbo charged and aligning with McLaren I just don't see value in the prancing horse premium any longer.
Remember 650S is 2 years older as well and P14 is just around the corner at Geneva and going to be knocking the ball out of the park

If I could drift like Oliver Webb then the 488.

But I can't so I'd have the 650.

For us mere mortals the 650S is probably the quicker and easier drive with the F1 hydraulic suspension set up

650s would be my choice even though owning a Ferrari was a boyhood dream.

You own a 12C and a DB9 right? Why not exchange the DB9 for a 360? Your dream becomes true!

Saw a Rosso corsa Ferrari 360 out and about today but I just couldn't get that excited about it. Cant say versus a DB9 but its not even in the same league as a 12C.
It would be like Torquay United FC playing Chelsea

Yeah I do agree with what you're saying, they don't have thatroad presence in 2017, especially compared to the 12C. It may be because I'm not an Aston fan, but I don't feel like DB9's have the road presence of a car with a V12, but then I guess Aston's aren't supposed to be like that. To me, a 12C and 360 would be awesome! The 360 could be taken out to some country roads, just the car and the driver, pure Ferrari Italian adrenaline!

Yeah I know what you mean but as a F355 owner I've never really liked the 360 for some reason. Passed it by to buy a F430 and I think you always have a slight prejudice against the following model.
Rather have £100k in a F355 GTS manual than a 360 unless its a Challenge Stradale
I do like a DBS though !

Currently having this Debate in my head round what one of these to go for including an Aventador Roadster.

Being totally unbiased the Mclaren is the better car however, I cannot live with that dog ugly rear end that has been carried over from the 12c.
They have completely nailed it with the 570 as it looks very good but it's almost like Mclarens Boxster.

Ferrari IMO never really came that far as a driver's car until the 458 Model. No offence to anyone but the 355 and 360 were absolute toilet only excelling by being very pretty cars with the exception of the 360, they leaked, they broke down, they cost an absolute fortune to maintain and they weren't rewarding to drive in any sense of the word.

The comparable cars of their Era such as the 993 and 996 Turbo blew them away in every aspect bar looks however, now that Turbo's are added to the mix it is a different ball game.

Yes the Mclaren has the carbon Tub but having owned a 458 GTB and Spider it wasn't really that noticeable as far as scuttle shake was concerned.

With all of that being said and like most of my friends, although we all know the Mclaren is the better car we would all go for the Ferrari.
