Strange hankering -

As I understand it we are not allowed to like the Bentley GT on this site....but my wife wants one as her daily driver....so I might sneak behind the wheel on occasion.....
IN all seriousness I have yet to drive one but I don't understand the undisguised disdain thrown at them - I will get one at some point and just blame the wife when it comes up in conversation...

Is this not a Mulsane? Looks lovely
I think you are correct - I wasn't quite sure because the picture looked distorted. Regardless general point still stands - are we allowed to indulge in a Bentley on this site and this section? Maybe I've mistakenly felt negativity towards the brand and especially the GT?I like them.
Having just sold my Continental V8S, it was a fabulous car, the huge problem is the depreciation. I have owned a few different marques and nothing compares to the loss I had on it. I loved the car though, but proceed with caution.
Such a shame that they discount the new product so heavily as the product and brand are lovely, I would not return.

It seems that the £80-£100k area is the relative sweet spot? That's where I'm trying to guide the wife to stick to and then accept that when we want to sell we try to take no more than a £50k bath. If we can get 3-4 years decent use I think it's not a complete disaster. Or is that unrealistic?Such a shame that they discount the new product so heavily as the product and brand are lovely, I would not return.
May I ask what the average annual maintenance amounts to on about 7k miles per annum? Is there anything in particular I should be looking out for?

I'm sure Mulsanne is a great car but Flying Spur W12 is much better.Believe me.
Even dealers will tell you the same.
I think it is a really underrated car.
Technically the flying spur may be better, but the Mulsanne is another world... Even dealers will tell you the same.

Just stitting in each you will know and once you've driven it you will want the Mulsanne. There is a reason it cost £100k more new. For example on the doors in the Mulsanne it looks like half a tree has been strapped to the door and the centre console has stainless art deco edging around every area , after the Mulsaane fraid to say it makes the Spur feel surprisingly lower rent - I've just put up a video on it - let me know what you think
